It will cover the components of the Solar System, so check out the first website to review the information that will appear on your test. Parents' Corner
To help prepare for the unit test on Monday, I am encouaging students to look at the Solar System website to review important concepts learned in the unit. They are required to "identify components of the solar system, including the sun, the earth, and other planets, natural satellites, comets, asteroids, and meteoroids, and describe their physical characteristics in qualitative terms" (The Ontario Curriculum: Science, p. 122) and be able to apply these concepts on their test. Please encourage your child to also take the online quiz as it reviews important concepts that may appear on their test.
